Matthias Täubl is the CEO of AURELIUS Equity Opportunities and the Co-Lead Partner for the Operational Task Force at AURELIUS.

Since joining AURELIUS in 2008 as a member of the Operational Task Force, he has held multiple positions within AURELIUS before being promoted to the management in 2018. Matthias Täubl was responsible for numerous transformations and successful exits of portfolio companies, including Getronics Group and Connectis.

He studied international economic relations at the University of Applied Sciences Burgenland in Eisenstadt, Austria, and at Helsinki Business Polytechnic in Finland. After his studies, he spent several years at Knorr-Bremse AG before moving to a medium-sized restructuring consultancy.
