Plastipak also operates in the virgin and recycled resin segments in Europe and the US. The two parties have agreed not to reveal the financial details of the transaction.

Regain Polymers specializes in the development and production of innovative structural components made from recycled plastic waste. Both the demand for resilient materials that can be used to replace timber in railroad construction, road construction and shipbuilding and the volume of recyclable plastics are growing constantly. Regain is set to profit from this trend over the long run.
