- LD DIDACTIC seeking further sponsors for schools
Munich, 27 May 2020 – AURELIUS Equity Opportunities SE & Co. KGaA (ISIN: DE000A0JK2A8) is supporting an innovative project by subsidiary LD DIDACTIC to address the Corona crisis. The Science Lab Hygiene mobile experimental laboratory lets schools offer 20 age-appropriate experiments on hygiene for grades 5 to 13. AURELIUS’ 50,000 EUR donation helps equip schools with experiment sets.
Discover, investigate and understand
Good hygiene habits aren’t something people are born with; they must be learned. The Science Lab Hygiene developed by LD DIDACTIC helps schools quickly and efficiently educate pupils about infection chains and transmission paths, making the effect of and need for hygiene measures clear. For example, one experiment lets young people use a UV lamp and UV-active cream to simulate the invisible spread of pathogens. With digital instructions for tablets and other devices, the Science Lab Hygiene is ready for immediate use.
Support schools and become a sponsor
In order to help our nation’s schools transfer knowledge about hygiene as quickly as possible, LD DIDACTIC offers interested companies and organisations a way to get involved. Sponsors can equip one or more schools of their choice with Science Lab Hygiene experiment sets, and so make a valuable contribution to preventing virus infections.
“As the first Science Lab Hygiene sponsor, AURELIUS is again meeting its social responsibility,” says AURELIUS Board Chairman Dr. Dirk Markus. “We are very glad to support this great idea, and hope that many more sponsors will follow our example.”
