As the KAM, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth by managing key accounts within the food and DIY retail sectors as well as the FMCG wholesale landscape. Your responsibilities will encompass developing strong client relationships, implementing effective sales strategies, and achieving ambitious sales targets. - Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients, including major players in the food and DIY retail sectors and FMCG wholesale landscape.
- Hunter mindset – combined with the ability to re-establish existing and lost customer relationships fast
- Develop comprehensive sales strategies and plans to achieve revenue and growth targets for the company’s products through both direct and indirect channels.
- Conduct effective negotiations to secure favourable terms and agreements, ensuring mutual benefits for the company and our valued clients.
- Analyse sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business growth and improvement.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to showcase our premium products and innovative solutions.
- Develop accurate sales forecasts and demand plans to optimize production and inventory levels.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, actively prospecting and converting potential clients into key accounts.
- Provide exceptional customer support and after-sales service to ensure client satisfaction and foster long-term partnerships.
- Promote the company’s commitment to sustainability and environmentally responsible production, aligning with clients' values.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Key Account Manager in the FMCG industry
- Sound understanding of the food and DIY retail sectors, FMCG wholesale landscape
- Demonstrated ability in negotiation, sales planning, sell-out management, and sales forecasting
- Proficient in analysing sales data, market trends, and consumer insights to make informed business decisions
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders
- Highly organized with the ability to manage time efficiently and work independently in a remote environment
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales objectives
- Thrive in a challenging and dynamic environment, actively challenging the status quo to drive growth
- Fluent English with exceptional verbal and written communication skills
