ERP Project Manager (m/f/d)
AURELIUS’ Task Force is a close-knit team of advisors with deep functional expertise and long-standing management experience. They support value generation in portfolio companies through effective and hands-on project and change management in the areas of Procurement, Operations, Sales/Marketing, IT and Finance.
Responsibilities
- Initiate projects, e.g. ERP implementation or modernization and execute end-to-end project management activities, including project planning, execution, control and closing of the project, once all the identified and agreed scope of work is implemented and tested for quality.
- Close cooperation with and regular travel to AURELIUS portfolio companies across Europe
- Define and mature the project scope, develop the project management plan, and identify and schedule the project activities.
- Understand, establish, and actively manage priorities.
- Identify resource requirements and manage internal and external parties to deliver the tasks assigned.
- Monitor performance of project tasks, budget and operational readiness.
- Access and manage risks and issues.
- Prepare and transfer the completed work product to operations.
- Communicate project status and necessary actions to project stakeholders and the steering committee.
Prerequisites
- 10 years of working experience with ERP systems with minimum 5 years as project or program manager.
- Successfully completed studies in Computer Science or Information Technology or comparable degree
- Demonstrated track record of successful Project Management on ERP Projects. SAP project management experience is preferred as well as one full life cycle project experience as a Project Manager.
- Knowledge or hands-on experience with business process mapping preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Good understanding and experience in IT architecture, IT Solution design and infrastructure.
- PMP or PMI Certifications is beneficial.
- Excellent time management and ability to prioritize and communicate commitment.
- Outstanding people skills and ability to build respectful relationships with all levels of staff.
- Self-motivated to perform effectively and provide accurate results.
- Ability to handle changing priorities, deal with ambiguity and use good judgment in stressful situations; ability to take on-time decisions even in the face of complexity, balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness.
- High readiness to travel within Europe.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Fluent English is a must, German is beneficial.
