The success story that is Scandinavian Cosmetics began with two independent cosmetics distributors, both of which were embedded within a larger retail sales division of the seller Valora. AURELIUS engineered the carve-out of the two companies and consolidated them under the new brand Scandinavian Cosmetics Group.

The hands-on support provided by the task force made it possible to improve operating processes, accelerate organic growth, expand the business in Scandinavia and implement an effective e-commerce strategy. Two add-on acquisitions were successfully integrated during the transformation. When it was sold, the company’s EBITDA had risen by 66% from the time when it was acquired by AURELIUS.
