AURELIUS Wachstumskapital SE & Co. KG („AWK“, “AURELIUS Growth Investments”) founded the IT services group connexta, which focuses in particular on the areas of cloud services and IT security. In addition to the existing holdings ID.KOM AG and BASYS Bartsch EDV-Systeme GmbH, the group also comprises the recently acquired neam IT-Services GmbH based in Paderborn.

In total, connexta has five locations in Kempten, Augsburg, Bremen, Paderborn and Wiesbaden and generates sales of approximately EUR 50 million. Building on this market position, connexta wants to grow organically and inorganically through a focused buy and build strategy. Connexta is well positioned organisationally and financially for further acquisitions.

Acquisition of neam IT-Services GmbH

On May 7, 2021, connexta acquired neam IT-Services. neam focuses on IT security and thus perfectly complements connexta’s existing service portfolio in the areas of cloud, managed services, and modern & secure workplace. The acquisition of neam as a third acquisition for connexta underlines the approach of AWK to actively expand portfolio companies through acquisitions of market participants.
